These are the series of The Alams family I've captured in a June's sunny Saturday.

I love the innocence of the faces. Get them the closest as you can, then you'll get all you want.

Another update, guys!

I took photo series of the wedding of Riando with Sasha in Cibubur, East Jakarta.

My partner, Reinhard, captured the wedding rings beautifully.

It was a cool reception. Some fire lights guided guests along the way to the reception building.

Padangnese dances opened the party.

STEPHAN + AUZIE

Name all things you desire in your wedding day. I got them all in Stephan and Auzie's day.

I traveled to Roemah Bogor, an old colonial style house in "Rain City" Bogor, West Java, to get best pictures of Stephan and Auzie. I still remember a warm night between hot August days, Auzie called me from Delft to ask me to photograph her wed. And here, the day has come.

Stephan, her sister and her brother in law look nice in this kind of Indonesian traditional suits.

Altough live in The Hague, they yet have to use Indonesian traditional way of "sungkeman":p

Auzie has root of Balinese from her father side. It made the wedding day was so colorful with Balinese ambiance and mood.

I said before that Bogor is well-known as "rain city". No wonder rain hit the old town hardly in the evening. Thank God, the party went well. Even wilder..

THE SURYADARMAS

Sunday afternoon, I could still sense the smell of the land as there was hard rain an hour before. I met the warm family of the Suryadarmas to have a family photo session.

Agnes, one of the Suryadarmas and my old friend, contacted me by email that she headed to go back to Jakarta from Cambridge to attend her brother in law's wedding. She asked me to have a session for the family a few days after the wedding day. I said to her that Sunday afternoon would be great. Seems I'm correct as the Suryadarmas warmed the gray afternoon.

Audrey, beautiful daughter of Martin and Agnes was the star of the afternoon.

I think she enjoyed of being "one day model".

Look how she acted in front of my lens.

Ups, I was wrong. Audrey's parents enjoyed being photographed as well. Now I could track how Audrey got the root.

So glad to know you all, friends. I relished all the session long.

It was an hour pre-wedding photo session with this humble but caring couple. As the time was limited, I tried to make simple concept but, hopefully, deep.

Quick shoot on abandoned rail tunnel.

Modest pose but meaningful.

Tried to catch the light that soon would be gone. Done in a hurry but I got the moment.

After achieving the master degree he had been struggling for years, Ardi flied from South Korea to his hometown in Central Java to marry his beautiful girl. But he stopped by in Jakarta to get me photographed them.

It was a sudden project, but I knew I could get beautiful pictures as the lady was created beautifully.

Mr. Satrio Anindito texted me if I'm available to have a photo session for his family. "Why not?", I said. In the beginning he wanted to have a photo session in a studio, but I proposed him to have it in outdoor. Outdoor photography session would create surprising image. He agreed.

The kids loved to be captured. They smiled each time I asked to. I think they enjoyed to be one day models.

I asked them to play. They did it. Over, I mean.

Hoping all these pictures will be your classical photographs in the future time. And remember, I'm happy to be a part of it.

I really enjoyed to take photos of the couple as I found the ambiance of love in the air. You would know if you experience by yourself how easy to take photographs of people in love. You could see in their eyes.

I took them to a city park in Menteng, Central Jakarta. I wanted to make urban atmosphere as the backgrounds. It is "a love in the city" moment.

In this hectic city, love is theirs. Others just pass by.

I went to a ranch in Sentul, 40 km south of Jakarta, to capture the couple for pre-wedding session. The lady loves horses so much, that's why I shot the couple playing with them.

The lady shocked me very well that she is good enough to do the equestrian challenge. No wonder, she has done it since junior high. She could play as Winnetou and Old-Shutterhand easily.

The fresh air in the high mountain fills the ambiance in.

The couple matches, literally, by the fact that their name is similar. I didn't make it, it's real. Aa & Ai.

The couple came home from Singapore to meet me to talk about their wedding day. We mingled in a cafe in Jakarta, chatted one thing or two, and then found some concept to be implemented on field. So many backgrounds and ambiances we had that time.

From red brick of massive wall..

To green green grass of home.

To a wharf.

To forest.

The couple prepared and planed the wedding day so detail. Zulfa had booked me to be their photographer months before the day, so it's been a bit long time coming.

It was a full day ceremony, from early in the morning when I captured the making up of the bride, to the reception time in the evening. But I really enjoyed the party as well as I could take the best shoots of the couple.

Roberto and Titu visited Indonesia from Rome to meet Titu's parents. In the mean time, Titu asked me if I could take the photographs of them. Yes was my answer.

The couple was rocking! They did everything what I asked. At the end of the session, sweats were under our clothes, the photographer and the couple. Sei figo, ragazzi!

It was a sudden project. Dhini, my friend in my college, one night called me to take photographs of her and her man. She wanted in their wedding reception soon, they would get their picture hung on the wedding hall's gate.

I thought for a concept, and then we had a photography session in park near her house. I was so happy when my picture was really hung on the wedding hall's gate.

The session was so challenging because nothing so special. The park was so so. The weather was too hot. But thank God, the couple was so helpful and friendly. How sweet they are!

With their smiles on their faces from start to end, I could have these pics easily. Ricky and Putri, you guys are great couple.

The concept of this session was to have "a not so classic picture". I thought it would be good to have an outdoor session with old bicycle but with today customs.

We did the session in Gunung Bunder, Bogor. It was remote area with fresh air and beautiful scenery.
